Amazon EC2 micro instances are 2.5¢ /hr to run (about £11.31 /month), compared to the next smallest small instances, which are 9¢ /hr. I wanted to know whether the sustained CPU performance of a small instance is any better than the ratio of these prices (3.6 times) a micro instance.
